| 内容記述 | This paper argues the definition of populism and its characteristics in organizational terms as making preparation for analysis of populism movements in East Asian democracies. First, after investigating the difficulty in constructing general theory of populism, I will offer three approaches to populism in order to understand what it is. Second, I will introduce excellent studies about populist leaders and mass organizations in Latin America. Lastly, I will reconsider the core character of populism and usefulness of studies in Latin America for the analysis of East Asian cases. | |||||||
