In this paper, we will examine the brief history and the concepts of "Huistenbosch" from a cultural point of view."Huistenbosch", which was founded in 1992, has often been seen as merely a theme park. But this view is not right when we examine the total concepts of its founder and planners. In fact, it is a part of a wholly new idea of creating a city, which is named "a city of a thousand years" that means it lasts forever. In one aspect,"Huistenbosch" is a historical Holland's town, which attracts many tourists because of its beauty, and another is an ecological model town, which demonstrates an ideal harmony of a nature and a culture. Here we try to show these concepts should be given a moral support with its cultural significance.}, pages = {35--42}, title = {ハウステンボスの文化論}, year = {2003} }
