 note = {The purpose of this thesis is to analyze syntactic irregularities of the predicative be-verb in the minimalist approach. In this thesis, syntactic irregularities of the predicative be-verb are successfully solved through some speculative but reasonable hypotheses and general interaction of syntactic, lexical features. This thesis also refer to some syntactic properties of auxiliary verbs as well as structural similarities and differences of subject complements that follow be-verb.
