This study is a practical article discussing a Japanese lesson that the author performed as an introduction to media literacy education, as conducted at a Korean university in 2009. This class does not have any study assignments or set lesson plans. This paper attempts to investigate what the students learn through such lessons by analysis of the data from the students' self-reflection essays.
