In Bulgarian language, teachers may explain these participles in class as "past"and "passive" In Japanese language, these meanings are expressed with rareteiru, teiru, tearu, and so on. In such a case, the teacher's explanation would confuse the learners. Many language teachers who follow the direct method might create the same situation in their teaching. I do appreciate the direct method and would continue to follow it. However, if language teachers hold some contrastive viewpoints between languages, it would be very useful for their teaching. This would thus be beneficial not only for the learners of a language, but also for the improvement of the teachers themselves.}, pages = {19--32}, title = {ブルガリア語の過去受動分詞と日本語の対照 (序章)}, year = {2010} }
